Alrighty guys, I am testing out making SVG files to share with other Cameo users. Or other die cutters, I suppose. But I love my Cameo, so that’s what I’m going to reference. So, part of my master plan is to make files and papercuttings to sell on my Etsy shop. So I need to make sure that the designs I am making will work well for other people, and to do that I need feedback. The easiest way to do that is to give things away to people and ask them how it went! Also, I really like sharing things and making tutorials. So I will keep making free files too, even if I am able to successfully make some to sell.
So, a little while back I posted about this sewing design I made. I was able to successfully cut it at 3×5 inches on light cardstock. I think it turned out really well.
I would love to see if it would turn out well for other people too – so here are some download files. There is an SVG file and a DXF file, in case you are using the standard Silhouette Studio software, not the Designer edition.Sewing Card (3685)
I also made this “Happily Ever After” text design, which I cut out of vinyl and put on the side of my shelf above my work table.
I love it. It would be really cute in a little girl’s room. And It is fairly simple, so I think it could be cut out of paper for scrapbooking or crafts too. Here is the file for it -Happily Ever After (1122)
Ok guys, let me know if you use these and they turn out well for you! <3
